Bannack Round 3

The Custom Images course goes to a ghost town in Bannack, MT each spring and fall semester; this year, students even went during the winter. There were a few extra spots in the vans, so I was fortunate to get to go along. Surprisingly, the weather was amazing!

Below are a few shots from the day. The weird mask that Elissa Stewart so graciously modeled is actually a weaning mask for calves--whenever a calf would try to get milk from its mother, the nails in the mask would poke the cow and cause the cow to not give its calf any milk.
